About Me

I am a Texas history teacher at Hereford Jr. High. I believe it takes a special person to teach middle school kids. They require a special ability that not everyone possesses. Although I am certified to teach any subject, my true passion is history, especially that of Texas.I believe that history has a very important place in our educational system and our lives. I also believe that the entire story of our history should be taught. Texas's history is rich from the Native American's reign through those of the French, Spanish, Mexican, Republic of Texas, Confederate, and American. The Good, The Bad and the Ugly, it isn't all pretty but the story must be told.

I am a father of three intelligent, beautiful and caring little girls. My wife is a Music Therapist and is my rock.
